Refunding P+P costs?

Hi,

I am trying to issue a refund to a buyer on ebay but it won't let me add the P+P costs to the refund, I can only refund the exact amount or less?

You cant refund more than the transaction says

However you can send your buyer a payment to cover the p&p, BUT it must be sent as a "gift" otherwise it will be sent as a payment where the buyer will be charged fees
