REFUND STILL NOT RECEIVED

Got an email from Paypal on 16th August, saying a refund has been recieved from a company I cancelled an order with, and that it will take 5-7 working days for it to show in my paypal balance... its been over a week now and my paypal balance is still saying no funds.. The status of the refund says 'complete' and refunded to PayPal balance.. I did used my debit card/bank account to fund the order? Whats going on? Am I being impatient despite the fact they said 5-7 working days?

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c (paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine).
