Paypal’s chargeback rip-off

In early January some eBayer in Colombia bought an item from me on eBay. He later wrote back to me to let me know that “the item have arrived without any problem”.

Then on January 25th, Paypal writes me this regarding this transaction: "We are writing to let you know that one of your buyers opened a chargeback with their card issuer. The buyer stated that they did not authorize this purchase.

So I went to the Resolution Center on Paypal.com to dispute the chargeback. I enclosed a screenshot of the eBay order, so that Paypal can see that the buyer did indeed authorize the purchase, since he bought the item from me on eBay using his eBay account and then paid with card through Paypal.

For some strange reason, while filling the online form to resolve the case, eBay asked me for proof of sending even though this has nothing to do with an “unauthorized purchase”. I never send my packets registered to offer cheaper postage rates, but by chance the buyer had written to me to say he’d received the item! So I enclosed a screenshot of his message to Paypal. That is clearly a proof of reception, even better than a proof of shipping, don’t you think?

Well would you believe that despite providing proof that the buyer did authorize the purchase and ALSO had received the item, Paypal just wrote to me today to say:

"The dispute amount has now been debited from your PayPal account because of the following reason(s):

  • We did not receive proof of shipment.

In addition, you have been debited a chargeback fee.”

This show’s Paypal terrible customer service as it seems that they did not even look at the evidence I sent them. I am very disappointed in this company.

Hi,

I have around 6 months of selling.

I have hundreds of successful sales

I have a doubt.

This is my first case:

I had received yesterday a dispute for "transation not authorized".

I sent the package through DHL Express,

with tracking number and it was received,

I added that information to the dispute.

I update the tracking number the same day that I send all my items,

that means that I meet all the Seller Protection.

Will I keep my money?

thanks
