Payment to Sports Direct Pending - how can I cancel it please?

Generally,if it's an option,  I choose Paypal on all my online purchases. It's always been successful until now when a payment to Sports Direct is stuck on "pending'  Some of the items are for a birthday present so I don't have time to mess around. so I want to cancel the payment and pay by other means.

I've spent half the moring searching Paypal help, but there doesn't seem to be a solution for outgoing payments. 

Please can anyone help?

A payment to a "company" rather than say an ebay seller is always pending until that company processes your order and "collects" the payment from paypal.

You can't cancel it but if you want to cancel your order you need to contact sports direct.
