Hi, wondered if anyone can help me, I've purchased an item today but noticed Ive been charged 5 times for the same item, I've tried contacting PayPal to see if they can help and the phone number on the help section is invalided. And still no reply from email, has anyone else had this experience in the past, will I get my money back etc
yes i tried to pay as i normally do through my bank account but pay pay said this was not an option i could pay by credit card so i chose this option , but pay pal said my transaction could not be completed so i tried again, same thing happened so i tried echeque and this was ok but when i checked my pay pal account it showed all transactions had been completed. i am worried because seller is not replying . has anybody any suggestions thanks. teflon
Hi the same has happened to me today as well, i have sent the seller a message i hope that there is something they can do there end to refund it to me. Hope we get it sorted

Hi, I had the same problem yesterday. Ended up with 4 payment transactions being completed. I tried to call PayPal but the number is unobtainable. I also emailed. I can't view my sent email. Does anyone know how to retreive "sent" emails? I have also contacted the seller but unfortunately they are on holiday so cannot respond. I just hope that I get a refund for 3 of the payments. I do not want 4 lots delivered.
had the same thing happen to me yesterday morning. Tried to pay for something on Ebay via Paypal but said there was an error. Tried 3 times with no luck. Checked my online banking to find all 3 payments of £360 each were waiting to go out. Contacted Paypal and found that they are having system issues and there was literally nothing they could do for me. I emailed and got quite a fast reply from soemone who said the duplicate payments had been reversed. Ebay seller has emailed me to say he has received 1 payment and that 2 payments have been reversed. However, the 2 reversals are not showing up on my online banking yet so as far as I can see they are still waiting to go out???
Same here they've reversed mine but they aren't in my account yet the lady I spoke to over the phone said it would take 15 mins to 2 hours this was yesterday at about 10am then I read somewhere on here it can take 2-5 working days
I sold items yesterday, got paid 3 times, contacted buyer, gave 2 refunds so we were all square and posted items. Checked paypal today and they have reversed the remaining payment meaning I've now sent items which haven't been paid for plus postage!! Gutted!! Ebay are no use and to ring paypal, I need a second mortgage! In response to this thread though, they are aware and rectifying issues for buyers.
I have received answers from PayPal confirming that there were problems yesterday. The last 3 payments have now been reversed. They have stated that the first payment has been processed. I hope that the merchant hasn't been confused by all of this. I have not had a reply about the unobtainable phone number.
