Can you file for a dispute if I purchased an item with multiple payments (2)?

I have researched this in terms and conditions however,

the multiple payment is only because of a confusion of the price not a deposit.

Then go ahead and file a dispute on both transactions if you are able to.

Give the seller the option to refund both payments.

If after a few days they don't then see if you can escalate to a claim.

If cant' lose anything by trying.

No sorry you can't.

What are the eligibility requirements for PayPal Buyer Protection?

You must meet all of these requirements to be eligible for a payment under PayPal Buyer Protection:

  1. Your payment must be for an eligible item and made from your PayPal Account (see Section 13.3 for further details on item eligibility);
  2. Pay the full amount of the eligible item in one payment. Items purchased with multiple payments – like a deposit followed by a final payment – are not eligible;
  3.         Send the payment to the Payment Recipient through:

That's what I read as well.

But my payment is not a deposit

Its just because the seller wants more money after a confusion with the price.

I have paid them but they want more money now

However I have slight doubt

I feel a scam...

So I don't want to pay more

because if something happens I wont get my money back will I???

I really don't know what to do!

Well there is no harm in trying but did you send the payment as send money > goods or send money > gift??

If it was the former then try and file a dispute on both payments > put in what has happened and see if you can get a result.

I've only sent 1 payment

And I sent it as 'goods' .

But it was on the 8th January

So its not been long

Its just because they seller is trying to make excuses up about the price and their life situations and problems

I feel as if they're trying to sweet talk me into sending another payment

So I don't get my money back

Because seriously at this moment in time

I give up!

I don't even want it anymore

I just want my money back safe!
