I NEED to pay for an item received

Hi this is a reversal of the normal situation posted here.

3 Apr - I have purchased an item for £121.90 and payed by PP, the money went into REVERSAL and then Temporary HOLD (Not sure why) immediately and was refunded 3 days later into my PP account.

I advised the seller straight away via email but they sent me the item believing they had been payed as payment must have briefly appeared in their account (I think).

The money left my bank and now sits in my PP account and the transaction is marked as REFUNDED.

After reading the problems that people have with PP I am reluctant to make another payment yet in case PP make two payments, and I cannot get the money back from them!!!

Any ideas what I should do?

But if your payment has been reversed and  refunded and you can see it in your account why would you be paying twice>
