How long does Paypal take to review a case?

I escalated a dispute to a claim and it has went through all of the steps. Now it is on "Being reviewed by Paypal". It has been on this stage for 4 days and I was just wondering how long it usually takes. The seller failed to provide tracking information, so it will only take a support specialist 10 seconds to realize who should win the case. I thought about calling customer support but I didn't. I will if you guys think its a good idea. Anyways, thanks for reading and I appreciate any help.

If I remember correctly & If rules haven't changed, they try to resolve it within 30 days of you escalating claim.  But since in my case over a month had gone by since purchase (I paid and seller disappeared, never responded at all, maybe passed away), so I called paypal and it was resolved a bit sooner. It took me about 3 phone calls.  Also, I remember being told they were trying to reach seller and talk to him before making a decision. 

 

You can check the status by logging into your account then under Resolution Center click on view open cases.
