I just send a $300 usd payment to a seller via paypal invoice a few days back he says that he will be shipping the item between the 10 days mark and I also got the paypal email confirmation that the payment whent thru a few more days more to the 10 days mark and my question is what will happens if thing don't go as planed and don't receive it .  This item I've purchased it's from ebay a set of mirros for Mercedez Benz W204-C-Class -07-09- Carbon-Fiber-Arrow-LED Side -Mirror-Cover and I asked the seller if he could sell the Item for $300 insted of $339 he wrote back and say that to give me a discount I will have to be able to pay him via paypal invoice and them he will leave the item at the 300 offer and that's what I did.  The buyer seems to be pretty highly rate no negative feedbacks upuntil now . My question or worries are that this is the very first time I'm buying something using my paypal acount and  again will I be  protected against fraud if it happens to be a fradulent transaction ? thanks in advanced.

Welcome to the community forum.

It sounds like your seller just wanted to move the item off eBay in order to charge you the smaller amount. It is perfectly safe just to pay with PayPal. What is important however, is that when you are buying you also use the goods and services option to pay. Personal or friends and family payments are not covered under our Buyer Protection. I understand that you have sent the money already this time but it is something worth noting for the future.
