Debit Card Confirmation Refund not received

So yesterday at around 8pm GMT, I confirmed my debit card by entering the four digit code from my bank statement. Paypal has deducted £2 from my card and claims they will refund it after 24 hours. It has been 26 hours and I am wondering if the refund is going to happen anytime soon?

Did you check your PayPal balance?

Yeah, nothing there either.

If there is nothing in PayPal balance or in bank within a few days of confirming the card call PayPal and they will refund it
