Charge Back on Account. Can I still buy on Ebay??

Hello,

I have sent a bag that I sold on Ebay (A designer one) and the buyer is saying it hasn't arrived. I am currently sorting through the dispute but my paypal account is currently in a minus amount. I have sent some money through my bank account but it's going to take 7-10 days (why I have NO idea lol) But i was wondering in the mean time can I use my paypal account to pay for something on Ebay?

As long as you have a backup payment option eg. your bank account linked to your PayPal account, or your credit card on file with PayPal I don't see why you couldn't make a purchase.(if you get an error message when trying to check out call customer service)  Have you received any info from PayPal saying that your account is restricted until the negative balance is reconciled?  Because if you have then you will have to contact customer service to sort it out..Or just wait for your funds to be available.  I have made lots of purchases when my PayPal account balance was zero dollars and it just pulled the money directly from my bank account - If you have an account on file I wonder why it would not have done that to take care of the negative balance.  Again another question to ask PayPal.  Hope that this is of some help 🙂

Thanks 🙂 I didn't want to risk it without checking and I found that Paypal's help centre was a bit rubbsih so I thought I'd try here. I am so annoyed, she didn't pay me for ages but i sent the item out as soon as I got it and now she's saying it's not arrived. I have proof of postage. How long will it take for me to resolve the claim. I have found Paypal it's self very unhelpful and very difficult to contact.
