Ordered through a pizza joint's app and paid with PP. Couldn't finish payment; came up with an error message. Had another attempt and same thing. Then checked PP account and there were two payments that showed cancelled and the amounts had a strikethrough line in them. My question is: Will these payments be returned into my PP account? There are similar questions I saw answered but slightly different situations so I thought I'd ask my version. Also, the order didn't complete on the pizza app and I didn't cancel them; there was just an error message. Thanks.

Hi LWF,
Welcome to the community forum.
What I understand from what you are saying is that you attempted to order pizza through an App but the order didn't complete. What you would be seeing on your PayPal account is the order transaction. There would be no money associated with that so it wouldn't be a case of sending it back to you as no money would be taken.
If you can also see an authorisation on your account that has been cancelled that will have held money temporarily but once it is cancelled any held money will be released.
