Cancelled Payment

I have a "cancelled payment" in my overview, which was for an Echeque, which when I hover the mouse over it says that this is in my Paypal balance.  My balance however is 0.00.  The cancelled payment and the amended payment have both been taken from my bank account - so where is this balance?

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payments should have gone in??

The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will always take from those funds (as that is now the default funding source), rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.

To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance ie refunded echeque.

No, both payments are for the same amount and to the same person.  One payment shows it is cancelled, the other completed.  When hovering the mouse over the "cancelled" the box stating that this payment was cancelled and has been added to my paypal balance comes up.  But my paypal balance is 0.00
