I purchased a new laptop screen from a seller and it arrived in working condition. I used it for three months, and then the backlight died in it. The seller advertises a 6 month warranty on this item. I contacted them letting them know my issue and that I needed to return it under warranty. I have recieved zero response and have contacted them mutiple times.
So now since the purchase is out of ebay and paypals time line of resolution, how do I proceed with this? I really need help on this and need to figure out what to do...am I just out the money? What can Ebay or Paypal do for me now?
PP and eBay are out of this transaction (although I would still try to file a dispute so it would be filed under the sellers account for future reference). Have you tried calling them directly? Was the purchase from Screensfast or out of TX?
Was this funded with a credit card? You could still be eligible for the 120 day chargeback policy with some banks or be able to take advantage of their warranty program where they would repair it or send you a replacement.
