can I cancel a partial refund?

Sold an item.  On the listing I wrote FREE SHIPPING WITH BIN.  customer paid item + $4 shipping. (Book) I refunded the $4.  Now the customer wants me to use the $4 for priority shipping, skip the refund.  Can I cancel a partial refund?
