if the person would like his/her money back because cost of shipping was greater then expected and transaction cannot take place. can i send the money or return it?

Hi Austinkar,

You can refund the transaction from within the transaction details.

1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2. Click "History" at the top of the page.
3. Find the payment you would like to refund and click "Details."
4. Click "Issue Refund."
5. Enter the refund amount and click "Continue."
6. Confirm the information and click "Issue Refund."

When you made this refund, were the funds being held? If so, did the refund come from the pending balance or were the funds taken from your bank account or credit card that you have associated with PayPal.

I am having a similar problem and am afraid if I refund the money it will be taken again, instead of simply canceling out the held funds/ pending balance.

Am I safe to refund?
