Buyer returns item, buyers fault, do I have to refund original shipping?

Buyer ordered vid cam battery, I did not list which camera it works with, figured the buyer will decide which battery works for his camera. He returns it because it "doesn't fit". His bad research, not my fault. Am I obligated to return the original shipping amount, or am I just out that money for his mistake?
