I had purchased an item from a seller and when they were going to send it they noticed that it was damaged. They issued me a refund and it says its all set, but it is not in my account. How is this?

If your payment was credit card or debit card funded, the refund will be credited back to your credit/debit card. This generally takes one day for my refunds... it could take longer for yours... it depends on your card company's procedures.

If your payment was bank account funded or PayPal balance funded, the refund will be credited to your PayPal account. This should be instant unless your payment hasn't yet cleared your bank account or the seller's refund is bank account funded and needs to clear from the seller's bank.

Login to your PayPal account... what is shown as the refund status?
