Received a payment and how does it get put into my Debit card

I have a PayPal account with my Debit card only. Now can I receive a payment from someone? Also does it go directly into my Debit card.

I have just pressed the my account button, withdraw, and selected to transfer into my bank account, When I punch in my bank details, it comes up with the " There is already a Paypal account in existence for this account. please use another bank account".I dont want to, I need to use my own debit card account. Can you advise please?

Hello suepoodles,

When you click on the withdraw funds to bank account, the bank account would already be listed there to select. I am sure what you mean when you say, "When I punch in my bank details, it comes up with the " There is already a PayPal account in existence for this account. Please use another bank account". You should not have to put in your bank information to complete the withdraw. Have you linked and confirmed your bank account? If you have not you would need to complete the steps to do so. I hope this helps.

Hello suepoodles,

You certainly are not "stupid," link and confirming your bank account is a confusing process. You would want to start by, logging into your PayPal account, click on the Profile link (under My Account), click My Money, click Add my bank or update next to Bank accounts, enter in your Bank account information and continue. Once you add your Bank account PayPal will send tow random deposits ranging from .01 to .99 to your bank account (it takes about 3 - 5 business days to show up), once you receive the two deposits you will log into your PayPal account and follow the instructions above, when you get to your Bank account information you will see a link that says confirm, click that link and enter the two amounts just as they are on your Bank statement and continue. Your Bank account should now be linked and confirmed. Once you have completed this process you can then follow the instructions I gave you to withdraw the funds.
