I've advertised an item on Vivastreet and had an email response from a person who claims to be at sea, and wants to pay immediately for the item through PayPal, and then sent his agent, local to my area, to collect it for him. As far as I can tell (just quickly browsing thru PayPal info), this leaves me vulnerable to having the payment withdrawn.
It's also a bit suspicious that, having initially pressed me for a bottom-line price, he's now offering over the asking price. Am I being scammed here?
