I am just getting started using PayPal Invoicing to get paid. The template works good for my business; however, there isn't a field for the recipients name and address (other than just the email). Am I missing something?

The ability to add the recipient's name/business name, address and other info will be available sometime later this year when changes to the invoicing platform are rolled out.
Thanks for your input,
Dinesh.

I cannot figure out how to create a donation line where the receipient can enter the amount they want to contribute. This would be in addition to a fix line for their membership fee. Is there a way to set this up using email invoices. I know that I can set this up using a web page but that is not an option for this business. Please advise.

I sent an invoice this morning 2/22/2011 with a payment due date of 3/22/2011 The invoice is correct and I even went back and double checked it after sending. The notification email I got after sending it says the due date is today, I am hoping this does not confuse the customer and that this bug is worked out.

@TekWarren
The Due Date issue you've mentioend is a bug that we're aware of. It shows the incorrect date (date the invoice was created) on the emails to the invoice creator and invoice recipient. We're working to get this resolved and the fix should make it to the website in early to mid March.
Thanks,
Dinesh

Thank you for hearing me out, my problem is sending invoices out every month to customers on their email addresses and I have to type in most of the emails myself, as opposed to getting them from a dropdown menu address book. I can't delete any unwanted entries in this dropdown address menu. How can you improve on this problem. Thanks I hope you have a solution for this issue.

No, I invoice through eBay once I determine shipping costs. I always post shipping information, including tracking numbers online.

I've created and sent an invoice to see how it would look and everything is straight forward.
I am surprised about one little detail. The email the recipient receives starts with Hello "email address". This may seem like a small thing, but most online fraud sources refer to receipts as their email address instead of their actual name. If there was a field where you could put the recipients name so a proper greeting could be given, it wouldn't raise the flag of legitimacy.
It would also be nice if we could assign the email address we want to use as sender (ex: billing-at-yourdomain-dot-com).
This may not be the right place to mention these things. until I find the proper channel thanks for reading.

This is the right channel to post these requests:)
We might not be able to build every one of them, but your feedback is being heard.
We will be rolling out changes to the invoicing platform which will give your some more flexibility over who the email is addressed to, but at this point thats all I can share.
Thanks,
Dinesh.

yes.
there are two things missing, as far as i can tell, which would make this much more useful for our business.
1) ability to save a revised version of an older invoice, rather than having to go back to the same old saved one from the beginning each time..
2) ability to pre-calendar an invoice for a date in the future. set it up completely, and choose the date on which to send the Invoice to the customer.
this would be especially helpful for our business since there are timed deposits, which we would like to set up for the future.
can you help with this?
