I haven't started to invoice yet since I'm not sure how to set it up.

Is there a way to edit the invoice with wording I want? I initally want to receive a retainer for services. I do not accept credit cards.

Is there a way to send just an email with the PayPal logo eliminating the credit card logo's?

Is there a way to receive a PayPal payment without sending an invoice?

Geniemarie - Yes, one of my good customers just send me payment directly to my paypal account instead of me having to invoice her 🙂

Geniemarie - have the person that is to pay you do the following:

1.  Log into their PayPal account

2.  Click on the "Send Money" tab at the top of the page

3.  Fill in your email account, money amout, etc.

Most of them do not have PayPal accounts.  I was hoping there was an easy way for them to pay using a credit card that would then be sent to my account. But  I'm missing how to set it up in an e-mail.

geniemarie, they do not need a paypal account to pay the invoice but have the option to pay using a credit card "as a paypal guest". You do not need to "set this up" in the invoice it will automatically offer that option when they click the pay invoice button. If you know they don't have a paypal account you can include a message in your invoice that explains that.

That brings me back to my original post...Is there some way to alter the form and wording of the PayPal invoice to reflect what I want it to say. I would be using it for a retainer. I don't offer goods just research services and possibly machine copies of documents. The invoice does not reflect what I do.

I wanted to just send an email with the information about the retainer and a way for the client to send the retainer to my PayPal account. Can it be done without using their invoice form?
