Problem with paypal developer

Hi,

Whenever I open my paypal developer account at first it gives this message ( 500 - an internal server error has occured ). I have attached the screen shot. Is it why I cannot not make transactions when I enter LIVE - Clien ID and secret ID. Works well with Sandbox but not LIVE. Please check if the problem is with paypal or the plugin in my website.

Thanks,

Fresht

I don't see a screenshot. What plugin are you using? Are you trying to use direct credit card processing with REST?

Screen Shot 2018-01-08 at 18.57.30.pngThank you for your message. Sorry I forgot the attachement. Here is the attachement. I use Paypal for Woocommerce plugin. I also tried Paypal plus for woocommerce but didn't work with that too. Works well with Sandbox but not with Live.

The developer site isn't going to keep you from setting up the PayPal for WooCommerce with a live account. That would only be if you're trying to work with the sandbox.

Which gateway in particular are working with in the plugin? Are you trying to setup Express Checkout or something else?

PayPal Plus is specific to merchants in Germany. Are you in Germany?

REST Credit Card processing is only available in the US (and they've actually killed that now, too.)

PayPal Plus would indeed work for you, but it's a specific feature you have to get approved and enabled on your account before it would function properly. It sounds like you must not have done that previously..??

Thank you very much for your reply. I called paypal twice, their support is very poor. They don't listen to the problem and tell me that everything is ok with paypal account. I wrote an email I hope they reply back and solve the problem. It needs to be fixed with my paypal account.

Best,

Freshta

You should be able to apply for it here: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/paypal-plus

Once that's approved and enabled then our PayPal Plus plugin would work for you.

Thank you for your message. My account is already paypal plus. I have registered for paypal plus from the beginning I opened my website. It worked well with credit cards payments at the beginning but suddenly stopped working with credit cards. I called paypal and they suggested that I open a developer paypal account. I did that and install paypal plus for woocommece plugin. It works well with sandbox but not in live. Therefore, whenever I call paypal they say my account is paypal plus everything is ok in their side. I really have no idea what should I do next.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Fresht

Do you still have the PayPal Plus plugin installed?  Is the iFrame simply failing to load?  Or is it loading, but without the credit card option included?  Do you have logging enabled in it?  I would need to get a look at the log file to potentially figure out what's going on.  If you have that please submit a ticket here and attach the log file for me.  Please reference this forum thread as well.
