PayPal.API.Plan - Custom information

Can anybody guide me how to pass "custom" information in paypal plan/aggreement using PayPal.API.Plan class.

 

Currently, I am using paypal button and I use hidden variable to pass custom information that I receive in IPN.

 

<input type="hidden" name="custom" value="Cumstomer1">

 

Please guide me how can I pass this information in custom plan created using api ?
