Instant Payment Notification (IPN) messages missing data

I'm currently integrating PayPal's IPN service with the Salesforce instance the charity I volunteer for uses.  

 

I have successfully passed IPN messages to SFDC and returned the message with the cmd=notify_validate parameter back to PayPal IPN to get "VERIFIED" messages.  

 

When the transaction type is "recurring_payment_profile_created", "recurring_payment" or "recurring_payment_profile_cancel", IPN is not populating the address fields even when the donor (customer) checks the box to share his address with the charity during the payment process.

 

Also, the phone number field is not being populated regardless of what type of transaction is being processed.

 

I don't know if this behavior is to be expected in a PayPal sandbox or not.  

 

Has anyone experienced this and if data will be populated in the production environment.
