How does Marketplace work with Self Hosted Checkout Pages?

We're currently setup with a marketplace sandbox and REST api access, the conundrum is that the paypal documentation doesn't mention anything about capturing funds from a users credit card.  Are we supposed to chain our orders through payflow pro api or similar first? and then use the marketplace api to distribute to our vendors?

I haven't studied Marketplaces much yet because I keep being told it's going to change quite a bit before it's finally ready. Based on the way PayPal usually does things like this, though, I would say it's probably going to tie both PayPal Wallet and Credit Card payments into a hosted flow of some sort.
