Hi everyone, please help. I cannot get into the PayPal Here app on iOS, iPadOS or Android.
On iOS, it starts the login/face ID process, then I get ERROR "could not initialize merchant with data"
On iPad, when I tap the icon for the app, it tries to open then closes straight away. Not even an ID check, just a flash, then a close.
I can't get in through Android either.
Nothing has changed in my account in over 3 years, so I can't see how it can be anything I've done wrong, other than not having any transactions to process since Scotland first went into Lockdown with COVID-19. We're a comparatively tiny organisation and only take card payments infrequently, but the facility has become essential, especially as things are starting to open up a bit more in Scotland.
Has anyone else experienced that same thing? How was it resolved? Please help. I can't even get through to the app team on the phone because they're totally shut down just now.
