Is it possible to block transactions from certain countries

Hi, Im wondering if it's possible to block payment transactions from certain countries. I actually want to block all transactions except for ones that are coming from EU countries, UK and Canada.

I would love to be able to accept payments from all over the world, but I dont know how I am supposed to deal with the sales tax remittance, especially for the US where you have to file remittance for each state individually, so I feel like I haven no choice but to block them.

Hello @BioMoon498295

Welcome! Thank you for joining the PayPal Community! This is a great question. I can certainly understand the desire to expand your customer base but still keep an eye on your tax remittance requirements. At this time, it looks like Business accounts have the option to either block or allow non-U.S. PayPal accounts or non-U.S. shipping addresses, but they do not have the option to allow certain countries and block others.

With that in mind, here's all the information I could gather in PayPal's resources on any potential tax requirements you may need to meet:

Will PayPal report my sales to the IRS?
When is my income reported to the IRS?

What does FATCA require PayPal to report?

I wasn't able to find precise details on what to tax international transactions at. For that, I'd recommend consulting a local tax specialist.

I hope that helps!
