IPad Zettle QR codes malfuntioning - indicating not processed, but processed anyway

After months of perfect use with a Zettle POS system (iPad), Zettle started malfunctioning when customers tried to use QR code for Venmo or PayPal. Zettle says that transaction didn't go through, and asks customer to do again. HOWEVER, transaction DOES go through - customer is charged and funds to go into our PayPal account. BUT there is no record of the transaction in Zettle, no trail of what payment was for. I reported this on August 13, 2023, and have called back weekly for updates. The response has been that they are working on it, it's a known issue, and they will contact me when resolved. Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone else achieved resolution of this issue? I have deleted and re-installed app etc.
