We are a small non-profit organization that has a PayPal account that we use year round, but for three consecutive days out of the year we need an in-person point of sale system. Historically, we were using the PayPal swipe device (black triangle that plugged into an iPhone's headphone jack) but that appears to no longer work. I tried it on both my iPad with a headphone jack and an iPhone with a lightning port to 1/8" jack adapter and neither one would recognize the swipe device.
So, we're looking for a device that I can use to quickly swipe credit cards instead of me typing them in on a computer in the Virtual Terminal, which takes too long.
The problem is, we truly only need it for three days during an annual event, so paying long term for a contract isn't ideal.
