pay in 4 went through, but gamestop website error disrupted transaction

I attempted to make a pay in 4 purchase from gamestop but their website had a processing error and so the transaction did not occur. My account still shows the pay in 4 as pending and however. Will the pay in 4 plan cancel automatically since the order will never be sent because the transaction was unsuccessful? (gamestop's website has this problem pretty frequently.)

Hello @Philosochimp

Welcome to the PayPal Community!

I'm sorry to hear your transaction didn't process correctly. It sounds like the transaction is still a pending order. If GameStop hasn't collected the money/completed the transaction within 30 days, our system will automatically void the order. At that time, your Pay in 4 plan will also be voided. If a payment is made towards your Pay in 4 plan in the meantime, it will be refunded to your balance when the payment is voided.

I hope this helps!

Ok, that makes sense. So far the pay in 4 still shows as 0 out of 4 payments made, but the initial payment was listed in transactions on my bank. Thats fine if it will ultimately be refunded. More importantly however, say I order the exact same item from the merchant online with a different payment method and it ships successfully before the original pay in 4 that was botched gets voided, will it not void out because the system will think that the original order actually did ship?

(sorry if thats confusing, its late while writing)
