I placed an order from verizon, using the pay in 4 method. I went through all the steps on paypal, but after submitting the order it failed to redirect me back to verizon. As such, it shows up as a pending transaction on paypal, but it doesn't show up as being completed on verizon and they don't have the order in their system.
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
