what does a Inactive subscription indicate ?

Hi,

 

I took a medium yearly subscription and later realised that by mistake i chose the wrong one.

Then i cancelled the yearly subscription and it is now been shown as an inactive subscription.

My question is will i be still charged for the subscription i initiated ?

Cancelling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be cancelled up until the day before the next scheduled payment in order for you not to be charged.

 

To cancel the initial payment, contact the merchant. 

You can find your seller's contact details in the email you received when you signed up for your plan.

You can also find the contact information on the Transaction Details page for a payment that you made to the seller.

@sharpiemarker So, you mean paypal can't reverse any payment made to them initally ?

And what if no initial payment was made? 

Suppose i pay 0 money while activating the yearly subscription and then cancel it, Does it mean i will still be charged after a year ?

Sure you can, just ask the merchant to cancel the initial payment if you made an error and then cancel the subscription in your settings. Or you can ask the merchant to cancel the whole thing from their end if they can. They should be able to and that will mark it as canceled in your account settings.

 

But my answer from in my post above is basically from the PayPal FAQs.
