Unavailable balance?

I have a balance available from receiving money via goods and services . It was from a Chinese account. When I try to make a purchase my PayPal balance does not show as an option. Please help. Thank you.

Is it in the same currency as the person you are trying to pay accepts?

I do not know. I’m in the US and it was an account from China. I didn’t see Yuen (assuming) in the drop down menu to add as a currency. How can I tell if it’s usd? Thanks

Surely you can see what currency the funds are in your paypal balance?
