Text Message after Purchase a Scam?

I just made a purchase and have now received a text message on my phone asking to confirm if i made the purchase. The name of who i made the purchase from is right but the date is not. its saying yesterdays date. i

Its asking me to reply 1 for yes or 2 for no if did i pay.

Im just wondering if the text is a scam or fake.
