I am usually offered currency options (USD/CAD) when making a purchase through Paypal. I just made a purchase to an American company with my American credit card. I thought they would automatically charge me USD, but they charged me CAD, so I had conversion exchange rate loss on both my credit card and Paypal. I am not happy about his as I paid more for the purchase than I was intending. Not sure if Paypal can reverse this and I can make the purchase again.
Not sure why the currency options were not offered, but will just use my American Credit Card next time and skip Paypal if I am not reimbursed or my purchase voided before it goes through my credit card.
