I made a purchase and a few days after realized there aren’t enough funds on the card I used through PayPal. The transaction has not been processed by the company I purchased from. Will PayPal use my next preferred payment method to complete the transaction? Or will the purchase be denied?

They may try again a few days later.
They may put your paypal account into negative until you pay them back.
They may try another back up funding source.
Its wait and see really.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

So the transaction will still go through one way or another? I just don’t want the transaction to be declined. I have the funds. Just not on the card that was used.
