I can't see my ebay purchases on PayPal activity and can't find an answer, can anyone advise!

My PayPal is lined to ebay but my purchases don't show up on PayPal activity, Is there a way to fix this? thanks

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

It sounds like the purchase was completed using a PayPal Guest account. It wouldn't be registered in your PayPal account because it was not identified by your email address and the corresponding password before the payment was completed. The next time you make a payment, I recommend you enter your email address and PayPal password by simply clicking Pay with PayPal. This way, your payments remain registered on your PayPal account and you can check your transactions under Activity. I wouldn't be possible to transfer purchases completed using a PayPal Guest account to your account I'm afraid.

This did not help. When I make a purchase on eBay a screen pops up to" pay now" with PayPal., It does not ask me to sign in to PayPal. There is no option to sign in. I want to see ALL my activity on PayPal, do I need to refresh my app? I buy through PayPal on a lot of sites, ebay is the only one that doesn't show up in my activity, the only way to pay on ebay is through PayPal. These 2 sites must be linked somehow and I want a record of all purchases for tax records.Please advise.

I'm sorry that there is any confusion. There is no way to see the activity that was not completed after logging in. Those payments are not able to be incorporated into your account. If you want a record of purchases made through eBay, you would have to rely on the records on the eBay website. For assistance with that, please contact eBay.

If you're clicking to pay with PayPal, there should be an option to log in as well as the option to check out by adding a credit card number. Can you take screenshots of each step of the process? Please make sure not to include any sensitive information like email addresses, full names, or any financial information.

I do not see any transactions either in my paypal account which has been connected for several years.

It worked last year and year before that?

I have a business and need to print them of for my tax records.

I don't believe a major bank like paypal suddenly stopped reporting banking details like this or cannot account for a link from another major company ebay?

I think I have made a mistake because I just don't believe you cant do this!...
