Dutch bank account and PayPal not working

Hi guys, I've linked my Dutch bank account (ING) with PayPal 1+ years ago. But whenever I try to make a purchase I get redirected to a page where I need to set up a debit/credit card. How can I fix that? Thank you.

Have you confirmed it with the 4 digit code?

Does the billing address of the card match your paypal account address?

Is it still in date?

Does it have available funds?

The address matches. I've received a 6 digit code confirmation code on my phone and used it to log in. I have money in my bank account, so I'm guessing PayPal should be subtracting directly from my funds there?
