Can I pay for someone else’s subscription?

If I wanted to help out a friend, Is there a way of taking over their subscriptions and paying for thing such as Netflix subscriptions for them?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community! 

In general, if you want to pay for a subscription, what you need to do would be to link your PayPal account to your friend's Netflix account. Once you have done so, the payment will be automatically charged to your PayPal account each month. You can find more information on automatic payments here. 

Even if this is a very good gesture from your, I would recommend not to share your personal information such as your password with anyone else as a security measure.
