I have had money paid into my account and I have no idea what it is for. I have emailed the sender and got no response. I don't feel that I can 'claim' this money without knowing what is for. What do I do next?

Were you expecting this money? If not, claim it and then issue a refund from within the transaction details if claiming the payment is the only way to issue the refund or simply denying the payment if the option is there.

That's just it, I don't know what the money is for. If I don't claim it, I think that I will be refunded anyway so, maybe, I just do nothing

When - after a week - I had not had a reply from the sender, I decided to refuse it.
