Is there a fee for using Paypal? Someone tried to send me a certain amount of money and she got a message that she sent a certain amount to me, but we I got the message of how much that she was sending it was $3.65 less. Does anyone have any clue why? thanks

Well yes of course there is a fee.
Thats how paypal funds the service that they provide and pays their staffs wages.
However who pays either sender or receiver is dependent on whether its a gift payment ie friends/family or a payment for goods/services.
With friends/family gift payments the sender is the one that pays but normally only if funded via a credit card.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
