I received an email from PayPal saying a refund had been issued and it was refunded onto the original card I paid with. I no longer have this bank account so no longer have the card yet my PayPal account activity says refund in green but where is it? It's not in my available balance. Can anybody help?

Refunds paid for originally by a card always go back to that card.
If it was a debit card and old and new debit cards belong to the same bank account then it should go through ok.
If not then speak to your card issuer and see if they can recover it for you, if not and the refund declines it should bounce back to your paypal balance but you need to allow up to 30 days for it to do so.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
