I want to purchase an item on ebay worth $65. I have a Vanilla prepaid visa with $50. Ebay only gives me the options to use just the vanilla prepaid (not enough to process the transaction) or my bank account with the prepaid as back up ( renders the prepaid useless). How can I use the prepaid visa funds towards a purchase of an item with a greater value than that of the amount on the actual prepaid visa?
Good question - there's no way to split a payment between two payment methods, unless you're using your PayPal balance as the primary source and the leftover amount goes to whichever payment method you choose. This means you'd only be able to use the prepaid card on items worth $50 or less. I hope this information helps!
