Sent Money from a Linked Bank Account / Money not taken from Bank

Hello -

On Friday I sent money to another PayPal Customer.

I received an email receipt.

The money shows as having been sent from my account.

The money shows as having been received in the other party's PayPal account.

However he cannot transfer it to his bank account.

When I check my Bank Account the money has not been debited.

Is this a problem? Or if not, how long can it take to have the money actually transfered from my bank?

I sent another amount last week and it happened very quickly.

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller upfront for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.

Takes several days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.

As for pending in his paypal account that is between him and Paypal and presumably because he is new to seller and subject to the new seller hold as per link below.
