Security Check

It's wanting to send me a phone text for security purposes. 

My phone is in my account and is correct. 

However, it asks me to "add phone" but when I enter it - it says it doesn't recognize it. 

Stuck and not sure what to do next.

It’s likely that there’s a mismatch between the name and/or address on your PayPal account and the name and/or address on your phone billing statement. For example, if you’re on a family mobile plan and you’re not the primary account holder of that plan, our system will identify that as a mismatch and you’ll see an error message. Spelling variations, a maiden name, or other mismatches will also cause this error.

I suggest adding a phone number which is under your name or select a different options (if there’s any) to confirm your identity.
