I do hope someone can help me. WordPress issued me a refund (a considerable sum) a few days ago. PayPal have it as Pending, with the message 'We have no Postal Address on file' as the reason. I checked with WordPress who says it isn't their doing, all has been processed their end and it appears to be PayPal that requires a postal address. Since PayPayl already have my postal address (it is on my profile and I've used them for years) I do not understand the problem. I tried to use the Resolution Centre and a message from PayPal said I couldn't use the Resolution Centre because it was a refund so I need to contact the seller. Which is what i did and WordPress say it is not them.
Has anyone else had this problem? If this is the way PayPal are going to carry on I will stop using them.

Sounds as if they have 'sent' the payment rather than used the 'refund' option.
As it was sent then it may have been goods/ services and paypal are telling you that they have no postal address for you to send the 'item' to.
Was their a fee deducted from the payment and when you click on pending does it give you a clearance date at all?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
