Possibility of a hold on a $600+ Transfer

I have been using PayPal for a long time. It has allowed me to close my bank account, and I use it as my primary. I am not a seller and only use the MasterCard for online purchases. I have had very few issues with the system at all, except one. My wife used her account, via ACH, to pay rent a few months and they put a hold on it, not allowing the transaction to complete and causing me to scramble to pay it, incurring a late fee in the process. I attempted to get answers as to why they held it, but that was useless. All they would tell me is that they were investigating and would release the funds when the finished. This made me mad as hell, it was a rent payment to a reputable company and they held it?

Anyway, this has made me skittish about transferring funds between mine and my wife's account. I have never sent her more than $200, but now I have to send her over $600 for bills, and I am worried about the way paypal will respond.

Is it possible that they will put a hold on funds sent between my two accounts?

Ask the sender to go to activity, then to the payment on hold and click on view details, If they scroll down all they have to click is on a “confirm” button and the money will instantly be released. Hope this works for you!
