Had someone send me money today and I got a text showing I received it but it does not show in my acct

Hi,

1. Maybe it's because your account is new and the first payment is always checked and kept on hold for 21 days (as far as i know) 
2. Maybe the payment is pending because it's sent from a card, usually it takes 4-5 days so the paypal processes your payment

If you don't receive your money i suggest contacting c.s.

Have you received funds before?

Is your email address / phone verified?

Is your phone linked to your paypal account?

Were the funds in the correct currency?

Was it an international sale?

Oh and it has nothing to do with the 21 day new seller hold if you can't actually see the funds in your paypal account balance AND paypal payments are more or less instant unless funded via an echeck so discount the advice given by @Dusan2
