Hi , I made an offer on an item yesterday that was accepted . Straight away I got a messege from the seller asking me to hold off from paying so she could check all her PayPal details were correct. I messaged the seller back later that day asking if I could pay and she asked if I could do a bank transfer to which I replied no!! Since then it turns out the account that she has used to list the item is her partners and he hasn't got paypal( even though the listing states PayPal accepted ). She now wants me to pay directly to her own PayPal account but I'm unsure if I will be covered as I will be completing the sale outside of eBay? The seller is new by the looks of it and in all the years I've been buying and selling on ebay I've never come across this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊
